The City of Halifax in partnership with Dalhousie University is looking for public feedback regarding a proposed separated bicycle lane on University Avenue between LeMarchant & Robie. The pilot project will see removable bollards used on the street for two years to measure the changes in cyclists numbers and safety and the impact of parking and loading.
I strongly encourage all people to voice their opinions on the project. How this lane goes ahead and received will have an impact on future AT projects in Halifax.
