M.E.T. & DIAMONDS REDEVELOPMENT PUBLIC HEARING

The public hearings were held for HRM cases #18547 & 18548 tonight. More commonly known as the M.E.T. & Diamonds redevelopments the projects were blasted by neighbouring property owners including the Bus Stop Theatre and none other than Bev Miller herself. The Housing Trust and some other citizens stood up for the public benefits that will arise from these buildings. After all was said and done Halifax & West Community Council approved the projects unanimously, leaving only the development agreements to be decided upon in a couple of months.
